LINKS2SD: A Powerful Tool to save Internal Memory

One of the annoying facts about Android phones is the limited amount of Internal Storage. It usually like a bottleneck to your smooth Android Experience.

Android has apps2sd which usually moves the data files of apps to SD card, this helps optimization of internal storage. But many android users agree with me that they still feel lack of enough Internal storage.

Links2Sd helps you solve this problem. It moves 3 types of files from Internal memory to Sd card i.e
1) Application File
2) Dalvik-cache
3) Library Files

Thus one gets enough space for those lovely apps. But to use this app you first need to format & partition your Sd card. This can be done by following these simple steps

1) Firstly download Minitool Partition wizard from the Internet & install it to your computer

2) On your Android phones Go to Setting > Applications >Development >Enable USB Debugging

3) Backup your entire Sd card.

4) Connect your Android phone to your computer & open Minipartition wizard.

5) Here you will see single partition with the sd card.

6) Right click on it & select Move & resize the partition

7) Now create a partition with size approximately 150mb for storing apps. You can allot larger value if you have higher capacity of Sd card.

8) Now select partition as primary & type Fat32 & Apply.

9) Now remove phone from computer & download & install links2sd from market.

10) If after install it will recognize your partition if it doesnt then reboot your phone. After rebooting it asks you to format the 2nd partition. Format it with Fat32. Now you are ready to move your apps to Sd card.

11) Click on any app to move it to Sd card & it will show which 3 files you want to move. After moving you will see that you have enough space left on Internal memory.

  4. I suggest you try to factory reset the mobile.

You can do this by restarting the mobile & holding the volume up button & power button at the same time.

You will see a screen which is black & white. There you can have a option of factory reset. Try to do that or clear cache.

You can also try to the links
